I'm not exactly sure why I'm starting a blog, when I have a website and a facebook account. The only rationalization I can come up with (and believe me, I can rationalize just about ANYTHING), is that my website is dedicated to my dogs and animal rescue efforts, and my Facebook is for, well...me.
So here I am, brand new on the blogosphere. Why? Because you like me! Wait...That's the Mickey Mouse Show. Hmm...well, then because I need an outlet to share my craftiness (or lack thereof) and gather together ideas, inspiration, and some other great i-word. Ingenious!
First - a little clarification on the blog title. No, I am not some random pot-head that found her way to a computer keyboard. I chose the title based on my primary interests - baking and all things baked goods. But I also do so much more! Ok, maybe not SO MUCH, but some. So the blog needed to take it ALL into consideration! Whew, can you feel the responsibiity??
My first few posts will be sharing some of my past work (as in, the past few months-year), just to get some content going. And then as I start the new projects (a canning party in teh works!) they will be added as well. My goal is to take way more pictures of my processes along the way, so I can share more than just the finished product. But I make no promises.
So welcome to my homemaker's insanity. I hope you enjoy reading about it as much as I have enjoyed creating and writing about it!
